Curtis Deeter, Editor-in-Chief

Curtis A. Deeter is an author of fantasy, science fiction, and horror with two full-length books and over a dozen short stories published. He has a penchant for family, good music, and craft beer. 

Jonie McIntire, Poetry Editor

Jonie McIntire is the first female Poet Laureate of Lucas County, Ohio. Her most recent chapbook, Semidomesticated (re-released by Sheila-Na-Gig Editions, 2022) won Red Flag Poetry’s 2020 chapbook contest. Her prior chapbooks are Beyond the Sidewalk (Nightballet Press, 2017) and Not All Who Are Lost Wander (Finishing Line Press, 2016). She is poetry editor at Of Rust and Glass, Membership Chair at Ohio Poetry Association, and hosts a monthly reading series called Uncloistered Poetry from Toledo, Ohio. https://www.joniemcintire.net.

Leah Lederman, Non/Fiction Editor

Leah McNaughton Lederman, a Pushcart-nominated author, has created two volumes of Café Macabre: A Collection of Horror Stories and Art by Women (SourcePoint Press, 2019; 2021) and her own short story collection: A Novel of Shorts: The Woman No One Sees (2020). Her creative nonfiction has been published in The River and South Review, Defenestration Mag, and The Wrath-Bearing Tree. In 2022, Leah published Beautifully Broken: The Katy Hayes Story, about her cousin’s life as a quadruple amputee. Currently, she is working on a memoir about growing up with a combat veteran father. Leah is active in several writing communities in the Midwest, where she lives with her husband and an assortment of children, cats, and dogs.

Shannon Holleran, Assistant Coordinator

Shannon Holleran is passionate about empowering Midwestern creatives and supporting the arts. She is a social/personality psychologist and teaches psychology courses.
